Access to the research labs

Our laboratories are located in the Department of Otolaryngology Tübingen, in the southern half of the building on the first and second floors. However, the main entrance for visitors is at the northern end of the building, on the third floor, situated directly on Elfriede-Aulhorn-Straße 5. The building is  recognizable as a large green building, labeled with the number 600. The number is readily visible near the highest point of the building. You can ask at the front desk (Pförtner) for one of us to bring you to the labs.

By car from the centre of Tübingen

From within the Tübingen area, follow the signs in the direction of "BG Unfallklinik, Uni-Kliniken Berg" and "HNO-Klinik" in the Elfriede-Aulhorn-Str. 5 (turn-off from the Schnarrenbergstraße; coordinates 48.531899° N, 9.035398° E). There is parking on the west side of the building; the entrance is via a boom gate near the front entrance on the north side. If the gate is closed, press the information button and announce that you have an appointment with one of the lab members. At the moment there is only a few parking spots because of the construction site of the new Department of Ophthalmology (until 2015). There is a multi-storey car park in the "Crona P4" and there is also metered parking along the main street (Schnarrenbergstr.) leading to the hospital complex.

By bus

The nearest bus stop is called "Uni-Kliniken Berg", which is reached by the lines 5, 13, 18, and 19. Walk 20-50 m further up the main street, and then  into Elfriede-Aulhorn-Straße at the traffic lights. The main entrance to the ENT-Clinic is about 100 m up the hill on the left hand side.
